Austin-based photographer Tiffany Snyder has her BA in Philosophy and English Literature with an emphasis in American Lit. Since an early age, Tiffany has been enthusiastic about photography and in fact swears her first rattle was an empty film canister. "My aspiration is to capture the essence of people in their unique environments. Whether my subjects are brides, musicians, children or what have you, I get to the heart of the occasion," she says. By spending time with her subjects Tiffany makes sure she is fulfilling the wishes of her clients. "I try to make an album that shows the entire event; the subjects are not posing, they are relaxed, and not faking it." Though based in Austin, Texas, her work as a photojournalist takes her around the world. She has photographed for newspapers, magazines and record labels. Tiffany's work is both photo journalistic and artistic in nature. Her style is intimate and powerful. With attention to detail and without posing, scripting or pretension, Tiffany shoots your band, wedding or event only as it happens, producing carefully edited work as unique as your plans.
